CONCEPT
We set off with the motto “Art in Life, Life in Art

The building constructed in the 1970s was transformed into a surprisingly stylish boutique hotel with the principles of modern design. The focus point of Hotel SAMM is Art! “ Art at any moment ”

We believe in that every place, every point with a work of art turn into a distinctive space reflecting the aura of it. Thus, Hotel SAMM displays works of numerous Turkish Artists and Designers in its internal spaces. Common spaces of the hotel arranged with minimalist-modern design approach work like a “ gallery ”.

With this feature, Hotel SAMM serves as an exhibition area which is an alternative to the traditional gallery context for the artworks. This area gives the hotel a distinctive identity. In the context of continuity and sustainability of identity it adopted, the Hotel carries this character to public space with the theme of “street gallery”. This is how it extends the borders of the interaction between the art-venue-guests, and becomes a dynamic process, as well as contributing to the artistic atmosphere of the city.

DESIGN
Its building from the 1970s was renovated with modern design elements which fit the hotel functions; and the design principles were used within integrity in all parts of the hotel. The modern, elegant and Minimalist approach was enriched with textile products of different colors, arts and design objects, natural and superficial lightening in the Hotel. Sculptures of Osman Dinç, design awarded works of Megaron, sculpture-like armchairs- benches-sofas of B&T create a surprising and dynamic impact on the venue.

Numerous materials such as natural wood, stone, chrome, iron, glass and mirror, different colors and textures were used whether in harmony or contrast with each other in a balanced manner. Bright white with contrasting cool anthracite gray are selected as the main color theme with occasional flirtations of blues and warm, energetic coral reds. The rooms were furnished with white-colored and clean-lined furniture, light color walls, bathtub with satin finish glass walls and mirrors to create an extended image of the room which was balanced with dark color wood furniture and parquets and customized with natural and RGB light games.
